Classically Black Arts Salon, Houston, TX
Headlining the event is the internationally acclaimed classical vocal group Vox Fortutra. Their classical and soul fusion stylings will be accompanied by Houston-based classical violinist Raniel Joubert. Rounding out the immersive experience will be work by visual artist Delita Martin, Chloe Alexander and food by Michelin-trained chef Ashley James prepared in a Afro-European American style that is quintessentially “Classically Black.”

Vox Fortura is taking its brand new show: “Evening of Classical Soul” on the road to Humble, Tx. This show will feature Vox Fortura’s signature operatic style, combining soul, classical music, and opera with a cinematic 4K images, video and orchestral backing.

Vox Fortura, an Evening of Classical Soul features some of Birmingham’s most dynamic artists including Opera Birmingham, Miles College choir, Operatic Soprano Allison Sanders, Soul Singer Deidre Gaddis, grammy award winning musician David Crenshaw, Alabama’s Poet Laureate and ASFA faculty member Ashley Jones, and ASFA faculty member and dancer extraordinaire Germaul Barnes!
